How tall will I be?
Adult height is influenced by genetics (often 60–80%) and environmental factors such as nutrition and overall health. Growth accelerates during puberty and typically stops around 15 (girls) and 18 (boys).
Parents-only method
A simple estimate uses parents' heights. For boys: (father + mother + 13 cm) / 2. For girls: (father + mother − 13 cm) / 2. This method is simple and widely referenced.
Khamis-Roche method
A more accurate method uses a child's current height, weight, and parents' average height without requiring bone age. This page currently implements a parents-based basic estimate.
